Valet Parking Attendant

DRIVER-Valet Parking Attendant - to work in Monticello, NY. We are looking for full-time and part-time employees to work flexible hours. Fun outdoor working environment.

We are accepting applications for all hours of the week, but our current open shifts are mainly 12pm-9pm, 3pm-12am, and 11pm-7am. Weekend availability is a must in this industry.

Base pay will be $8/hour to start, plus tips. Tips have been averaging $4-$8/hour.

Between your base and tips, valets should expect to earn $12-$15/hour!

Should an employee not earn enough between their base and tips to be over minimum wage they will be appropriately compensated.

Able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management Have your own transportation (driving experience) Have experience working in customer service Must have a good driving record We require all employees to be clean shaven Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Both written and verbal communication. Duties and responsibilities To maintain a professional image for our client establishment To assist any and all patrons in any way we can To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job Physical demands Standing at least 8 hours a day Running up to 200 yards, 50 times a day or more Entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers vehicles) Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers Work environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.

We are seeking both full time and part time staff. Applicants with a background in customer service, hospitality, retail, transportation, and security often make a good fit for this position. We can accommodate day and night shift hours and are flexible with schedules where possible.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
