The Human Resources Manager is responsible for duties related to employee benefits, worker's compensation, safety and salary administration.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supervising the office in the absence of the Director of Human Resources.
Ideal candidate will have strong reading, verbal and written skills in English and Spanish.

Coordinate employee group insurance program, including enrollment eligibility, claims inquiries, dependent additions and/or deletions, monthly billing, up-to-date listing of current enrollment, and COBRA requirements.
Notify employees of eligibility for insurance plan and enroll on a walk-in basis with weekly benefits meetings available for further information.
Attend October and November department meetings to inform employees of all benefits available to include ski pass information, cafeteria plan information, 401(k) and other benefits.
Conduct Benefits portion of New Employee Orientations, benefits meetings, Worker's Compensation training, Accident Investigation training, LOA training, Bloodborne Pathogens Train-the-Trainer and any other training related to current job responsibilities.
Coordinate annual CPR training with Security Manager.
Accurately administer workers' compensation reporting, investigations, and follow up.
Ensure proper safety training through monitoring safety and health training checklists.
Compile monthly accident summary via HRIS to track claims and administer safety program.
Make suggestions in improving safety levels on property and suggest and administer safety awards program.
Oversee employee file maintenance and record keeping and maintain employee information in HRIS.
Correct any discrepancies found when doing a monthly audit.
Data entry daily into HRIS new hires, terminations, changes to status or pay rates, OSHA information, medical exams, disabilities and accommodations requested, and other information as required.
Submit to Payroll all insurance deductions for new employees as well as any changes, additions or deletions to payroll monthly by the 5th of the month.
Compile and disburse monthly turnover report to Director of Human Resources and others as directed.
Administer Benefits Administration Policy including notification to managers each pay period of those in jeopardy of losing their full-time status.
Administer Service Awards program including coordination of quarterly recognition functions.
Edit and distribute bi-monthly property newsletter.
Revise annually the Injury Illness Prevention Program and review with all new managers and supervisors.
Plan, coordinate and facilitate employee relations events including but not limited to: Employee of the Month, Leader of the Quarter, End of Season Parties, Annual All Employee Meeting, Employee Appreciation Lunches, Summer Picnic and Holiday Party.
Maintain and monitor sick and vacation accruals with quarterly reports to highlight abuse.
Notify employees within six months of approaching cap on vacation accrual.
Inform Director of Human Resources of any variances from company policies, especially in relation to processing

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
