Licensed Massage Therapist

Description

We are looking to hire several Massage Therapists for YO1 Center, a modern and unique exclusive resort & NatureCure and Ayurvedic wellness center (alternative healthcare) with guest rooms and support spaces totaling over 260,000 square feet located in Monticello, New York. The position is based in Monticello, NY within Sullivan County, two hours from Manhattan and a short drive from Middletown, Port Jervis and Milford.

This Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massages and other body treatments to guests of our facility operating the following tools: massage oils and lotions, hot stones, hot cabbie, hand towels, eye masks, body treatment products, hot packs, mud, salts and disinfectants. Working conditions will include exposure to odors, fumes, and vibrations. This would include working with water and steam in hot temperatures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Performs massage and body services that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations.
  • Cleans and disinfects all equipment on a daily basis.
  • Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and has complete knowledge of all Center services offered. Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests. Answers guests questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
  • Suggests to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the Center.
  • Begins and ends all treatments on time.
  • Creates and maintains treatment notes.
  • Reports any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
