Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:
An urgent care center in New York is looking for an urgent care nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens coverage for two sporadic dates in mid-November.
The provider will work 12 p.
m.
to 12 a.
m.
on the first day and 2 p.
m.
to 12 a.
m.
on the second day.
The locum will see 6 to 9 patients of all ages per day and will work on suturing and setting acute fractures, cough, cold, flu, strep, pneumonia, I&Ds, and more.
The facility uses eClinicalWorks EMR and will offer training.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
